ShortyDooWop, was born and raised in Rhode Island to Dominican parents. This gave Shorty a unique blend to how music came across her ears.  Latin at home and when she went outside it was Hip-Hop, Reggae, and R&B. Now living in Florida, there isn’t a lane that ShortyDooWop can’t embrace when it comes to her sets. A true open format DJ.

She started her DJ career  in Fort Myers, FL at Celsius Nightclub and soared in her favorite throwbacks lane making her the throwback queen. From there, her name kept spreading all over SWFL and South Florida. She is actively deejaying in both Miami and Ft Myers areas. She has been in many DJ competitions including a finalist on the Turn The Tables show where she competed in Elizabeth, NJ. She is also a radio personality on Fort Myers' Fly 98.5 FM. She is also currently a mix DJ on the throwback station Vibe 92.7 FM in Miami, FL and formerly on the iHeart  station 105.5 the Beat in Fort Myers, FL. In addition, she was a DJ instructor for Girls Make Beats.
