ShortyDooWop is a high-energy DJ known for delivering unforgettable throwback experiences rooted in hip-hop and R&B. Based between Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami, she has spent the past 7 years building a reputation for her ability to read the room and create a vibe that keeps crowds engaged from start to finish.

Her journey into DJing began as a form of healing after the loss of her mother. What started as therapy quickly turned into purpose, leading her to train under the late DJ Griff Gotti and step fully into her craft. Today, she’s recognized for her signature blend of nostalgia, energy, and crowd connection.

ShortyDooWop has performed in major cities including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, and New York City, sharing stages with artists such as KRS-One, Keith Murray, Rah Digga, Raekwon, Soul For Real, and Memphis Bleek.

She is currently a mixshow DJ on Vibe 92.7 FM in Miami and 105.5 FM The Beat in Fort Myers, where she also hosts her own show every Saturday from 7PM–8PM. Her voice and mixes have also been featured on 103.5 The Beat in Miami, and she previously served as an on-air personality on Fly 98.5 FM.

She is also the creator of “The Get Down,” SWFL’s only all-throwback vinyl party, where she brings classic hip-hop, R&B, and nostalgic sounds to life in their purest form—on wax. The event has become a signature experience, reflecting her deep respect for the culture and love for timeless music.

Beyond the booth, she is a DJ instructor for Girls Make Beats, helping empower the next generation of female DJs and producers. In 2026, she was honored with the AmplifyHer Award by Glitz & Girl Power for her impact and contribution to women in music.
